Full Description
Site of a castle. The modern house (formerly Brackley, now called House of Glenmuick - NO39SE0036) is built on the site of the old castle of Braichlie. Jervise notes that the castle suffered from the troops of General Mackay and probably from those of the Royalists in 1715 and 1745. There is now no trace or local knowledge of an old castle.
