Summary
A desk-based assessment and evaluation was carried out in July 2007 on the site of a proposed school extension in an area in which the remains of four cist burials were found in the late 19th century (NO35SW0034).

Full Description
A desk-based assessment and evaluation was carried out in July 2007 on the site of a proposed school extension in an area in which the remains of four cist burials were found in the late 19th century (NO35SW0034). One of the burials had contained a complete 3rd century Roman drinking vessel. The desk-based assessment found no further information about these burials, and no archaeological features or artefacts were identified by the evaluation.
