Full Description
A small farmstead stands on the edge of Wood of Conerock. It is depicted on the OS map 1888 as having a rectangular main block to the north and a house to the south. On the earlier edition of 1846 it is called Greenbank, with a long range of buildings lying to the north. The well preserved remains were recorded during a walkover survey by AOC in 2012 ahead of proposed wind farm development. They comprise two adjoining two-storey coittages with a later brick addition on the north end. The cottage retains its roof, suggesting abandonment within the last 40-50 years. The barn appears to be still maintained and in use. No traces of outlying structures were observed.
