Full Description

Site of a chapel. A 'chappell at Aberardour' in Crathie, is mentioned by Keith as being extant in circa 1732. Stirton notes that it is supposed to have stood at Balno, Aberarder, where a field is called 'Chapel Park' (unlocated), while Scott says there are remains at Balmore. McConnachie apparently refers to this when he records a church dedicated to St Manire in the burial ground in Glen Feardar, better known as Aberarder near which a market was formerly held. The exact location of the chapel is unknown.
