Full Description
Site of St Mary's well, also known as Well of the Prins/Pins. The legend attached to the well is of a missionary from the west who discovered the well after rejection by the people of Inverey. A Druid later blocked the well with mud but it recovered. During the 19th century the new road cutting destroyed it. The spring appears further down the hill but has lost its healing properties.
