Full Description
This area of Peterhead was known as Threadneedle, and consisted of a number of houses and warehouses associated with the textile industry. Numbers 8-12 and 18-28 Maiden Street were all late 18th to early 19th Century buildings which were variously Listed B or C(S) (NK14NW0441, NK14NW0442, NK14NW0447, NK14NW0456, NK14NW0458). These buildings were all demolished in circa 1973 to make way for a carpark.
