Full Description

Site of farmstead, which is depicted on the historic OS maps as a U-plan steading open to the southeast, with an attached enclosure on its north side. A rectangular farmhouse with an attached enclosure lies opposite the court on the southeast side. East of the steading is a long rectangular enclosure. By the time of the 2nd edition map the farmhouse has been extended. Northmoss was demolished in the second half of the 20th century and no surface trace remains, observed in 2021.
