Full Description
An anti-aircraft station, probably accommodation, was located at Knockleith, Longside during the First World War. The location is not known, but its existence is recorded in a newspaper advertisement in November 1919 for sale of the timber and corrugated iron huts and fencing. The paper describes the location as 4 miles from Longside Railway Station and half a mile beyond the RN Airship Station Lenabo (NK04SW0025).
