Full Description

Site of farmhouse, farmstead and associated enclosures. The OS 1st edition map shows an essentially E-plan steading with an attached horsemill on its north east corner. To the southwest is an L-plan house with attached garden enclosure. The steading had undergone considerable alteration by the time of the OS 2nd edition map with removal of the horsemill and westernmost wing, and infilling of the eastern court. Another small building has been added east of the house. The farmhouse was damaged by fire in the 2000s. Photographic recording was carried out in June 2021 ahead of proposed replacement.
