Full Description
Alleged site of fort, said to lie circa 2.5 miles west of Peterhead. Wrtiing in 1819, P Buchan stated that the 'moat, parapet, footbank, bastions, etc are conspicuous'. The name Bowman's Hillock could not be located by OS site visit in 1962. No further information.
