Full Description
A watching brief was carried out over the excavation of a test pit at this site in 1993, which showed the presence of flint rich Buchan gravel. The gravel underlies a peaty topsoil with no intervening glacial till. There was no indication that the flint at Bogengarrie had been exploited.
