Full Description
Site of castle. According to Tranter (1972) 'At the Tyrie Mains there was a later castle of the Frasers, now gone. Its only relic a red carved stone set in above the farmhouse back-door'. No trace of castle. There is a faint trace of a rectilinear enclosure showing as a cropmark in a field to the west of the farm which may be associated with this site.
