Full Description
Site of dovecot which was in existence before 1820. It had a string-course all round, just above the height of the door lintel. Internally it was divided into two rooms, the walls being covered with 0.30m square stone nesting boxes to within 1m of the floor. Entry by the pigeons was gained through a louvre capping the apex of the roof. Now no trace remains.
