Full Description
Site of a farmstead that is depicted on the 1867 1st edition OS map. It shows a L-shaped building, and a small rectangular building that was probably the house and a garden with a well at the east end of it. The smaller building and one wing of the range had been removed by the time of the 1888 OS 2nd edition map which shows only a single rectangular building and the well. Site visit by CFA Archaeology in 2012 ahead of proposed overhead line work noted slight irregularities in the ground surface which may indicate some buried remains.
