Full Description
Site of a cairn. The top of the mound had been paved with stones. In the centre, underneath a charred mass of heat-fused stones, a leaf-shaped flint arrowheads, a stone axe and Neolithic pottery were found along with bones. Nearly the whole mound has been quarried away for road metal, and with it large quantities of bones. Part of the natural mound still remains but no recognisable traces of a cairn can be seen.
