Full Description
Two trenches (4 and 5) were excavated in this area as part of the Book of Deer Project in October 2011 by MAS. Trenches 4 and 5 suggest that this area to the north margin of the village may have been built up with demolition rubble, probably when the nearby sheltered housing was built, possibly in an attempt to minimize the possibility of flooding.
