Full Description

A watching brief was carried out by Headland Archaeology in 2010 during dune stabilisation and Marram grass planting for golf course development. The planting took place in areas outside known flint scatters, although some donor areas lay within areas that could potentially contain scatters. No disturbance of archaeological deposits was noted during site visits, although reuse of an old track did reveal further flint scatters (NJ92SE0139).
