Full Description
Site of a farmstead depicted only on the 1st edition OS map. It is depicted as three buildings, the southernmost of which has an attached enclosure. The buildings are arranged around a small court, they are from south to north, a small rectangular building, a compact C-shaped building, with a horse-mill attached at the north-west corner, and another small rectangular building to the north-east. None of these appear on the OS 2nd edition map. Field survey 2006 noted that the site is now occupied by dense tree cover. The remains of a number of boulders and a low stone wall in the west of the plot may relate to one of the former structures or represent re-use, but no discernible building shapes were identified.
