Full Description

Site of a building depicted on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. On the 1st edition map it is shown as a long rectangular building with an attached irregular enclosure to the north. A flagstaff is marked to the south. On the 2nd edition OS map it is shown as having an attached small rectangular enclosure to the south. A small building is shown to the south-east by the flagstaff. The remains of a small concrete structure possibly relating to this building were recorded during a walkover survey by AOC Archaeology in 2006. It measured circa 1 m by 0.8 m and was located within a wider spread of rubble and building material centred at NJ9881229738.
