Full Description
Smithy, dating from the 19th Century, depicted on the OS 2nd edition map. It is a 3-bay rubble built building. At one end is a gable, complete with a chimney-stack, while the opposite end is piended, or hipped, a term used to describe the junction of two external sloping roof surfaces. The cottage stands to the west.
