Full Description
Site of a pre-Reformation chapel. The site of a chapel is annotated at this location on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. The OS Name Book (1866) noted the site of the chapel was well known, and that the graveyard had been dug up about 1836. There is no trace if a chapel at the site. The reported site lies on a low ridge flanked on the south by the Millden Burn, and on the northeast by an unnamed stream.
