Full Description
Site of a concrete pipe works of Messrs Trollope and Colls, dating from the 1930s. An article in the Aberdeen Press and Journal 3rd August 1938 records that Trollope and Colls had made plans for the production of air raid shelters at the factory 'if there is a demand for them in the North-east'. A sample section of a shelter was on view at Craigshaw at that time.
