Full Description
Site of well, depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. It is not known when it was first used, but probably dates to before the reformation. It was common custom after the reformation for people to avail themselves of what were believed to be the curing waters of the well. The well was washed away in the early 20th century.
