Full Description
Site of a cinema, depicted on the OS 3rd edition map annotated as 'Picture Theatre'. It opened on 2 May 1921 as the Torry Picture House, later changing its name to the Torry Cinema. The building and frontage were renovated in 1939 and the interior significantly upgraded in 1955 to accommodate CinemaScope. It closed on 24 September 1966. Housing now occupies the site.
