Full Description

A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by Headland Archaeology in February 2018 prior to works associated with the Aberdeen to Inverurie Rail Upgrade. Seven trenches were excavated, but not archaeological features or deposits were revealed. A layer of hillwash was identified within five trenches.
