Sections of wall recorded in a watching brief carried out by Aberdeen City Council Archaeological Unit between August 2009 and November 2010 on groundworks for resurfacing works across 10 streets associated with the Green Townscape Heritage Initiative. At the wider part of Hadden Street three wall features were encountered. Although these do not equate to features on the OS 1st edition map it is likely they belong to an earlier street alignment. Further west along Hadden Street the works uncovered a red-brick built feature, possibly relating to an earlier footing for a doorstep, and some disturbed bricks. Another possible wall feature was recorded at the north end of Stirling Street.
