Full Description
A watching brief was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in January 2015 on test pits and machine trenches for development works. One test pit revelaed clay flooring tiles, probably of 19th or 20th century date. The three trenches produced artefacts in all layers including dressed building stone, animal bone, horn, brick, glass and pottery sherds. The site is within the area of Hadden's factory (NJ90NW0689) depicted on historic OS maps.
