Full Description

A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by MAS in June 2007 on the site of the new University Hall of Residence, following demolition of the earlier halls. Much of the development site had been disturbed by the 1970s construction work and soil stripping prior to the evaluation. Five trenches were excavated but no archaeological features or artefacts were recorded.
