A watching brief was carried out by Aberdeen City Council Archaeology Unit in September and October 2007 during groundworks for the new extension and refurbishment of the Fraser Noble Building which is located in close proximity to the settlement of Old Aberdeen. No archaeological evidence was uncovered.
