Full Description
Site of a school. There is documentary evidence for a Song School in 1483, although probably of earlier origin. The school stood on the west side of the churchyard. Gordon in 1661 recorded that a 'musick schooll' stood on the wall of the churchyard and 'hard by is the grammar schooll'. See NJ90NW0226 for later grammar school and NJ90NW0576 for present grammar school.
