Full Description

A watching brief was carried out by Aberdeen City Council Archaeological Unit in summer 1992 during groundworks for construction of the dual carriageway on the line of the Denburn. . No archaeological deposits were recorded. The Denburn, a tributary of the river Dee, was recorded as it passed between Denburn Viaduct and Union Bridge, east of Union Terrace Gardens.
