Full Description
A well found in April 1979 in a Gas Board trench at the foot of Windmill Brae beneath the Bridge Street arch. It measured 1.1m in diameter, and was 5.3m deep from the top of the brickwork (which lay 0.8m below the road surface), still containing water.
