Full Description

Farmstead, depicted on historic maps, part of which is still in use. Grass-covered foundations of longhouses and enclosure. The 1st edition shows a rectangular building, possibly partly unroofed, on the inner eastern edge of an enclosure. To the south an L-plan and rectangular building are arranged to form three sides of a yard. The layout is similar on the OS 2nd edition map, although the enclosure is no longer shown and the building formerly within it has been reduced in size. The two southern buildings are shown as in use on current OS maps. The northern on is no longer depicted although RCAHMS record grass-covered footings of long, rectangular buildings as well as enclosures at Corrunich.
