Full Description
Remains of houses and enclosures. Rebuilt and now used as a holiday home. The 1846 1st edition OS map shows this was a farmstead named Lachnasharach, which comprised four buildings, two of which are shown as being partially roofed. An irregularly-shaped enclosure and a well are also shown. The 1888 2nd edition appears to show rebuilding at the steading. Although only two roofed buildings are depicted, one of these was previously depicted as partially roofed, and appears to have been expanded. In addition, the irregularly-shaped enclosure was replaced by a large field.
