Full Description

A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by AOC in July 2008 ahead of proposed development on the former Torry Research Centre. Six trenches were excavated but although parts of the site were formerly occupied by the village of Old Torry, a shipyard and ironworks, no significant archaeological deposits were identified.
