Full Description
Site of the village of Torry, erected a Burgh of Barony in 1495. It is shown on early maps including Parson Gordon 1661 and the OS 1st edition map. It was essentially a fisher community. The old village has been almost entirely destroyed by 19th century realignment of the river, and subsequent construction of the River Dee Dock and other works.
