Full Description
Site of the manor of Nether Glasslaw/ Nether Glasly/ North Lesly. Writing in 1721 Alexander Hepburn reported 'in the parish of Aberdour .... is the mannor of North Lesly'. This manor-house should probably by identified as Nether Glasslaw, a possession during the late 17th century and early 18th century of Lord Pitsligo. In 1696 his tenant was 'George Adamsone, gentleman'. Between 1710 and 1721 the Barony of North Leslie belonged to George Leslie of North Leslie.
