Full Description
Site of a saucer barrow, now ploughed out. Coles (1904) describes a low mound circa 18m southwest of the Rocking Stones (NJ84SE0001) which he considered to be a burial cairn. The mound was surrounded by a ditch and bank measuring circa 13.71m crest to crest. Local information states 'a circular earthen mound about 0.45m high with a shallow ditch and bank around it, measuring about circa 9.14m overall diameter'.
