Full Description
Tomnavoulin war memorial stands in the village facing west at the entrance to the distillery. It was unveiled on 20 August 1921 by the Duke of Richmond and Gordon. The plinth comprises two octagonal lower steps and square upper one. The base, square in plan, tapers slightly upwards and is topped by a Celtic cross. The face of the base commemorates losses during the First World War, and a dedication to those lost in World War II has been added on one side. There is a panel of interlace carving on the lowest part of the front face of the cross shaft. The memorial is in generally good condition, but there has been some damage to the lettering.
