Full Description

Two dovecots or early hen houses, probably built in the late 18th century. They are twin circular structures to the north-west of the farmhouse (NJ83NW0059). They are rubble-built harled buildings with rat-courses. The roofs were formerly thatched, however a survey in 2015 by SPAB shows the thatch has since been replaced with a mineral felt tiled roof covering, although a small amount of straw or reed is still visible underneath the eaves.

Period Notes
Listed on 15/02/1982. Probably built in the late 18th century.
