Full Description
Site of cropmarks of enclosures, comprising part of a rectilinear enclosure with an oval cropmark internally, against the east side, and cut by a track on the south side. It may have been drainage. A desk based assessment carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in 2016 ahead of proposed development of Bellmuir Quarry (NJ83NE0181) and subsequent field observation noted the site (S40) was no longer present having been removed by quarry operations outwith the proposed development area.
