Summary
Excavation was carried out by Headland Archaeology in 2014 to further investigate a possible curvilinear feature (undated) recorded in trial trenching by Headland Archaeology in 2013 (see NJ81SE0641) ahead of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route.

Full Description
Excavation was carried out by Headland Archaeology in 2014 to further investigate a possible curvilinear feature (undated) recorded in trial trenching by Headland Archaeology in 2013 (see NJ81SE0641) ahead of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. No archaeological features were recorded. The possible curvilinear features in the northwestern part of the area was interpreted as likely bioturbation. Other features related to post-medieval agricultural activity.
