Full Description

A sub-circular pit recorded in trial trenching by Headland Archaeology in 2013 (see NJ81SE0641) ahead of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. It measured 0.5m by 0.46m and 0.08m in depth, and contained abundant charcoal fragments. It was interpreted as the remains of a shallow pit containing material from a burning event.
