Full Description

A trial trenching evaluation carried out by Cameron Archaeology in May 2013 ahead of proposed development recorded the Aberdeenshire Canal (NJ81SE0535) in two trenches. It consisted of a shallow, flat-bottomed cut feature 6.2m wide and 0.7m deep, lined with a 0.1m thick layer of blue-grey clay.
