Full Description
Site of a millpond depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. A watching brief was carried out by MAS in February 2012 during groundworks for a new house. The site was covered with material dumped on the site in the late 20th century. The site lies in a distinct natural hollow and appears to have been naturally waterlogged before it was made into a mill pond. No other archaeological features or artefacts were recorded.
