Full Description

Pit recorded during trial trenching by Headland Archaeology in 2013 ahead of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (NJ81SE0076). It was sub-oval, measuring 0.65m by 0.3m by 0.12m, the fill containing charcoal fragments, small vitrified fragments of slag and an iron fragment (probably modern).
