Full Description
Site of a manor/house, depicted on OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. The Victorian mansion was built by the Gordon-Skene family of Pitburg. Parkhill House was demolished and a modern house erected in its place in circa 1960. The house is set within a designed landscape (NJ81SE0056) within which is an ice-house (NJ81SE0106), walled garden (NJ81SE0104). A manor house existed in the vicinity.
