Full Description
In 1866, a stone cist was opened at Stoneywood (Low 1905), near the Rowett Institute (Cruickshank 1934). It contained a skeleton, age 25-35 years, and a beaker, now in Marischal Museum (ABDUA: 19703, and ABDUA 14222).
In 2002, it was determined that the skeleton was likely female, having previously been identified as male.
