Full Description
Site of stone circle. The OS Name Book (1866) records that it had an enclosure with bank round it, with an entrance to the enclosure on the south side. A stone circa 0.35m high stood on each side of the entrance. Digging was carried out within circle in the 19th century but reported that no urns were found. The circle is depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. RCAHMS site visit 1996 noted that nothing is now visible, the area occupied by scrubby woodland. It is in close proximity to a similar site NJ81NW0062.
