Full Description
Trial trenching carried out by Headland Archaeology in 2013 following on from geophysical survey (NJ80SW0461) ahead of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, recorded a single pit in Trench SL0448. Glass, redware and an iron fragment were recovered and a sample from the fill also contained charcoal. It is most likely modern in date, a stone hole which has filled up with topsoil.
